The Lantern Hatyai Hotel

30/1/24 - I loved the ID of this hotel. I like the layout of my room. Especially, the bathroom. I dislike the glass type. The bed was very comfortable. My room was located at the back part of the hotel. Can't hear the noise from the street. However, the noise insulation indoors was quite poor. I could even hear the noise from the opposite room as the corridor was narrow. Some guests were noisy as they returned in the evening and also in the morning when they were up and about. It would be great if the hotel could put notices to remind guests to keep their noise down at all times. Also, do remind guests during check-in. It would make everyone's stay much more pleasant in this lovely hotel. Parking is available at the courtyard of the hotel. It can accommodate around 6 vehicles only. Street parking available. Would love to stay here again.

We had a 4 day retreat at Lantern Hatyai Hotel. Firstly the staff at reception and cafe are totally a pleasant group,totally committed and truly reflect Land Of Smiles. We had an emergency situation, and the reception staff..CARTOON ,young petite girl reacted fast and was resourceful to get us the assistance fast and reacted very calm .Totally to be admired how she handled the emergency situation. The hotel.housekeeping does an awesome job..Rooms are clean,smells good and fresh. Overall clean,good hospitallity, friendly and competent staff ,cafe good coffee and pastries and ambience and decor nice. Oh each room has a air purifier!! Thank you .........

let’s start with the interior and exterior. from the outside, it seems really small but decorated with lanterns and a china-theme, it looks beautiful and cute. when you check in at the counters at level 2, they serve you chinese tea which is pretty neat for service. downstairs at level 1, there is a cafe in which they serve great coffee and pastries such as croissants which i really recommend! the room when you step in, it has a good fresh scent and also decorated really well. the bed has extra pillows and two specially designed pillows which really looks like its from chinese culture! the bathroom has all you need which includes shampoo, body wash, hand soap and lotion! despite the fact that the snacks and drinks in the mini fridge are extra costs, i find it really good if you are hungry for a snack/drink. for location wise, i would not say it’s convenient as for elderly, they would have to walk about 8 minutes to a nearby market, 711 convenient store or the famous Lee Market (which is perfect to purchase food, clothes or souvenirs). however, i am sincerely in love with this hotel! their service is really lovely and just a call away! it might be slightly pricier compared to other hotels but the experience really makes it worth it! ♡
